New in Validi: HR with workplace assessments and reviews

19 July 2026

Colleagues in conversation at a table

Validi now has an HR section: statutory workplace assessments with category overviews, plus staff development reviews — in the same system as the journal and rota.

First came the rota with its time clock and holiday balance. Now the next step: Validi has an HR section with workplace assessments (APV) and staff development reviews (MUS) — so the working environment and staff conversations live in the system you already have open all day.

Workplace assessments: a legal duty — now without an extra system

Every Danish workplace with employees must carry out a workplace risk assessment. In many services that means a questionnaire in one system, answers in a spreadsheet and an action plan in a document nobody can find a year later.

In Validi, the assessment now lives alongside everything else. You run an assessment round with questions written for your reality — not for an office. The standard questions cover what actually matters in care work: how safe staff feel working with residents who may act out, whether the physical layout and escape routes support calm conflict situations, how your shared practice for de-escalation and Low Arousal works day to day, and whether people are properly trained in alarms, call-outs and follow-up after incidents.

From gut feeling to overview

Staff answer on a scale of 1 to 5, with free text where nuance is needed. Every question belongs to a category — accidents & violence, physical, psychological, and chemistry & infection — and the system gathers the answers into an overview with an average per category.

That means management can see at a glance where the working environment is solid and where action is needed. If "psychological" scores 4.3 and "physical" scores 5.0, you know where the conversation should start — in black and white, rather than guessing from the mood in the staff room.

Development reviews get a home

The HR section also covers staff development reviews. The conversations are documented in the same place as everything else about the employee — so agreements and follow-ups don't disappear into a shared drive or a forgotten notebook, but are ready when the next review comes around.

AI writes the questions — based on your own service

The questions don't have to be standard. Describe your service — target group, tasks, daily routines — and let AI generate draft assessment and review questions targeted at your exact reality. A residential home with night shifts and residents who may act out needs different questions than an outpatient clinic — and that is the whole point: an assessment and a review about what your staff actually face, not about an average office.

Why bring it all together?

Because daily life in a treatment service or residential home isn't divided into systems. The same manager who builds the rota also holds the development reviews and is responsible for the working environment. With the HR section, Validi now brings together journals, medication, care plans, the rota with statutory time records, the room overview — and the working environment and staff reviews.

That is what we mean when we say Validi is the complete institution system: no more logins, no more spreadsheets — one system that covers the whole operation.

Read how the rota with time clock and holiday balance was completed — the HR section builds on the same foundation.

Included in the subscription

Like the rota, the HR section costs nothing extra: workplace assessments and development reviews are included in the Validi subscription. No add-on modules, no surprises on the invoice.
