Your IT takes over
Everything from step 2 — minus us. Your IT department runs, modifies and extends the system on its own, for as long as you like. No license expiry, no remote shutdown, no "call the vendor first".

What "yours" means — four promises in writing
1. The data promise (all steps)
Your data can always be exported — complete, in a documented, machine-readable format, at no charge and with no argument. That applies on shared hosting too, from day one.
2. The handover promise (steps 2-3)
If you cancel the operations agreement, we hand over the transfer package within the deadline set in the contract: the server is transferred to your account, full code repository, database, operations documentation and build guide. The system can be built and run without us — we designed it that way.

3. The price promise (all steps)
Prices are public, right on this page. Increases follow the Danish net price index, with a cap. If we ever raise prices beyond that, you're free to leave — at no cost, and with everything. We've made it contractually impossible for ourselves to hold you hostage on price.
4. No chains
There's no remote shutdown, no license server, no hidden dependency on us in the code. And we've proven it in practice: when a customer wanted to move to another system, we handled the full migration away from our platform ourselves — with every record intact. We don't hold anyone hostage.
You don't need to be technical at all.
You log in through your browser. We handle servers, security, updates and backups — and the backups are actually tested, not just taken. Danish-language support from people who know addiction treatment, not a call centre.
What if we grow?
Then you move to your own server when it makes sense. Your data moves with you — you don't start over.

What the subscription actually is
The operations subscription is not rent. The house is yours. The subscription is the caretaker and the tradespeople: security updates, tested backup — and most importantly: keeping the system in step with the law. Reporting formats, documentation requirements and healthcare integrations change every year, and we build those changes in continuously for all operations customers. If your IT takes over operations itself, you keep the whole system — but the ongoing legal updates stop, and that kind of maintenance typically costs more internally than the subscription does. We'll happily show you that calculation with open figures. And you can always come back.
What ISN'T included if you take over operations yourself
Agreements held in our name will need to be signed in yours: Medicin.dk Pro, the SMS gateway, CPR lookup and the AI services behind speech-to-text and text generation. The system runs from day one — the AI features pause until your own keys are in place. We help with the transition, and we tell you this before you buy — because an ownership promise without this section wouldn't be honest.
Frequently asked questions
Where is our data stored?+
On servers in Denmark/the EU, encrypted. CPR numbers are encrypted at rest and are never sent to external AI services.
Can we move from shared hosting to our own server later?+
Yes. Your data is exported in full and loaded into your own installation. You never start over.
Can our IT department really build and run the system without you?+
Yes — it's a design requirement, not a promise: pinned dependencies, no private components, a build guide in the transfer package.
Do we get updates if we operate it ourselves?+
No — the ongoing updates are exactly what the operations subscription is. You keep the system as it is and can change anything yourself. If you want back in, we'll agree on re-onboarding at the current price list.
Do the AI features work if we operate it ourselves?+
Yes — once you have signed your own agreements with the AI providers and put your own keys in (the runbook shows exactly where). Until then, everything else runs unaffected: journal, medicine, plans. At handover, all system keys are rotated jointly, so our access provably ends — you don't have to take our word for it.
May we add new departments without asking?+
Yes. The agreement covers your whole organisation — including the departments you open tomorrow.
What if Validi is sold?+
Then your terms come along: prices, price cap and the right to leave with everything. It's in the contract and cannot be removed by a new owner.
What if we just want out — quickly?+
Shared hosting: export your data and cancel — there's no lock-in. Your own server: cancel, and the transfer package is delivered within the deadline.
Can you move us OUT of our current system?+
Yes — the migration engine moves clients, journals and documents from older systems, including the Sensum family, with full traceability.
What does the fixed build price cover?+
Configuration, migration and go-live — the price is agreed before you sign, and it won't creep. It assumes your data is delivered in the agreed export format; any deviations are priced before the contract, never mid-project.
