Compare the tasks your team actually performs
Map what you use
List the modules, integrations, reports and professional methods you currently use in Sensum One. Include daily documentation as well as occasional requirements such as inspections, year-end reporting and leaving the system.
Try the same case in both systems
Use a fictional person and ask the same staff member to find a plan, write a note, inspect a correction and prepare a handover. Consider whether the task is understandable to someone who was not involved in choosing the software.
Define the deliverable
Agree which data will move, which integrations are essential and what must work on the first day. Distinguish demonstrated functionality, agreed adaptations and requests for the future.
Approve before switching
Check a sample export and the imported history. Plan training, the transition date, access to old records and how discrepancies will be handled. Keep the old access available until the agreed checks have been completed.
Two systems — your requirements decide
EG describes Sensum One as a professional system for social care. Validi brings documentation and daily operations together for services including supported housing, social psychiatry and addiction treatment. Assess both against your actual tasks; a general feature list does not establish that a particular integration or report is included.

Compare the full cost
Start with your actual Sensum One agreement and invoices. Compare subscriptions, employees, locations, modules, usage, support, migration and training. Include any overlap between subscriptions during the transition.
Validi's shared-hosting price appears below and on the price list. A lower base price need not mean lower overall cost if other tasks or systems must be paid for separately. Equally, additional features have value only if your service needs them.
Which Sensum One data can be moved?
Start with an agreed export format. Map service users, notes and documents, and review dates, authorship, attachments and other historical information that needs to be preserved. The actual export determines the scope.
Agree both record counts and content spot checks. A file may transfer successfully without preserving every relationship. Read our guide to switching systems and exporting data, and have your own export assessed before agreeing the migration.
Agreements, responsibility and historical access
A switch requires clarity about lawful processing, data-processing agreements and access rights. Request exports through the agreed process and use secure transfer. An individual's right to data portability is not a general guarantee of free migration of an entire journal system.
Agree what must be retained, who may access it and how return or deletion is handled at the end of the service. The Danish Data Protection Agency explains controller and processor roles.
From observations to care-plan goals
A goal needs to work in daily practice. Validi can suggest intermediate goals for a professional to review, edit and approve. AI-assisted content is marked and included in the version history. AI makes no decisions about the service user.
Pricing and what is included
Shared hosting has a base price per clinic plus a fee per employee. Include both the subscription and expected usage when preparing your budget.

A system change in four steps
Define what needs to move
List records, attachments, plans and history. Agree retention requirements, access rights and any need to consult the previous system.
Check a sample export
Agree an export format with your current supplier. Check that service users, notes, dates and attachments remain connected before confirming the scope.
Test a working day
Walk through a fictional case with the relevant professional groups. Check permissions, corrections, reports and exports; agree training and responsibilities.
Approve the transition
Agree the final export, cutover date and a fallback plan if there are delays. Check record counts and selected cases, then have the responsible person approve the result.

- Is Validi cheaper than Sensum One?
- That can only be established by comparing equivalent services. Validi publishes subscription and usage prices. Use a current Sensum One proposal or your existing agreement and include modules, setup, training, migration and integrations. We do not promise savings without that calculation.
- Can all our integrations move with us?
- Each needs to be assessed. List integrations and specialised reports, identifying those essential on day one. Functionality in one provider's system cannot be assumed to work in the same way in another.
- Can you guarantee migration without data loss?
- A responsible migration begins by assessing the export and agreeing what can be moved and how it will be checked. We do not give an unconditional guarantee without reviewing the format and scope. Discrepancies, historical records and approval should be covered in the agreement.
- How long does switching take?
- Timing depends on the export, volume of data, integrations, training and operational constraints. We agree a plan after reviewing these. A test migration provides a more useful basis than a generic timescale on a website.
